Shoofra is a premium Israeli footwear chain known for its curated, "edgy-artistic" aesthetic, with a distinctively urban, sophisticated vibe.We were tasked with planning and designing its’ new flagship store on the coolest shopping street in Tel Aviv.
The transformation of the Shoofra store on Shenkin Street reimagines a generic retail space into a textured, architectural experience that honors the grit of Tel Aviv while embracing high-end design. By stripping the interior back to its "bones," the design exposes raw concrete pillars and weathered brickwork, creating a striking industrial backdrop for the brand's curated footwear.
The finished space balances this raw materiality with refined, modern interventions, including a minimalist grid-patterned service counter, sleek linear lighting, and warm wood-paneled shelving. Notable bespoke details, like the oriental rug-topped seating benches and the atmospheric mountain-scape mural, soften the industrial shell, resulting in an inviting, gallery-like environment that perfectly mirrors Shoofra’s edgy yet sophisticated brand identity.
