SHOOFRA Big Fashion Glilot,
Hod haSharon
Completed , in association with Studio ZA Design, by Asia Nekrasov
Shoofra is a premium Israeli footwear chain known for its curated, "edgy-artistic"aesthetic, with a distinctively urban, sophisticated vibe.
The Shoofra Big Glilot project reimagines a vast, sterile industrial shell as a dynamic retail destination that captures the brand’s eclectic spirit through a gallery-like atmosphere. The architectural language centers on the tension between massive, raw structural elements, specifically the oversized concrete columns, and the ethereal transparency of expansive, flowing curtains that soften the store’s industrial perimeter.
The interior is defined by a sophisticated juxtaposition of raw and polished textures, centered around a saturated, adventurous color scheme designed to create a high-impact visual signature from the mall corridor. This vibrant palette, anchored by a monolithic, tiled service counter that acts as a bold geometric focal point against the neutral flooring. Spatial organization is achieved through custom minimalist shelving and warm wood-clad alcoves that provide a refined contrast to the industrial volume, while the oversized spherical pendants serve as a series of sculptural floating volumes, grounding the expansive ceiling height to a more intimate, human scale.
